A leading technology company is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join its expanding security operations team in Dublin. This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management who’s eager to play a central role in strengthening enterprise defences.

The Role

You’ll work closely with experienced cybersecurity professionals to detect, analyse, and respond to threats across complex systems. The position combines technical investigation with continuous improvement, helping ensure the organisation remains secure, compliant, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts across multiple environments.
• Perform incident response and forensic investigation.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and support remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to improve security controls.
• Assist in developing playbooks, policies, and detection rules.
• Contribute to ongoing security improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years’ experience in cybersecurity or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of network, cloud, and endpoint security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, or intrusion detection technologies.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or MITRE ATT&CK.
• Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
